For legacy reasons there is a frozen installation of Kaldi at /vol/customopt/kaldi. It contains Alex ASR as well as Kaldi_NL. Frozen here means it is not kept up to date with the latest version on Github, but rather as it is.

There is another Kaldi installation that is kept up to date. It is in LaMachine2: /vol/customopt/lamachine2/opt/kaldi. This installation does not contain Alex ASR or Kaldi_NL as they are not maintained and/or they don't meet LaMachine's requirements for software.
